Frieze Londres e Frieze Masters anunciam mais de 280 galerias de 45 países para suas edições de outubro, destacando a produção de artistas da diáspora africana e brasileira
Com a participação de mais de 280 galerias de 45 países, a Frieze Londres e a Frieze Masters retornam a Regent’s Park de 15 a 19 de outubro de 2025, consolidando Londres como polo internacional da arte contemporânea e histórica. A edição marca a estreia de Emanuela Tarizzo na direção da Frieze Masters e a continuidade do programa de esculturas ao ar livre no English Gardens, com curadoria de Fatoş Üstek, de 17 de setembro a 2 de novembro.
A Frieze Londres receberá cerca de 160 galerias, com nomes consagrados como Gagosian, Pace, Hauser & Wirth, David Zwirner, White Cube e Thaddaeus Ropac. A força da cena local é evidenciada por 58 galerias sediadas em Londres, incluindo The Approach, Arcadia Missa, Sadie Coles HQ, Victoria Miro e Maureen Paley.
Na Frieze Masters, dedicada a obras do século 20 e anteriores, participam cerca de 120 galerias, como Hauser & Wirth, Pace, Galleria Continua, Ben Brown Fine Arts e Ortuzar Projects. A edição contará com duas seções especiais: Spotlight, com curadoria de Valerie Cassel Oliver, apresentando artistas como Helena Almeida, Nalini Malani e Cildo Meireles; e Studio, com curadoria de Sheena Wagstaff e Margrethe Troensegaard, destacando artistas como Anju Dodiya e R.H. Quaytman.
Curadorias Inovadoras e Representatividade Global
Entre as seções curatoriais da Frieze Londres está “Artist-to-Artist”, em que artistas renomados indicam nomes emergentes. Destacam-se: Ana Segovia (indicada por Abraham Cruzvillegas) na Kurimanzutto, e Ilana Harris-Babou (por Camile Henrot) na Dreamsong.

Já o setor “Echoes in the Present”, com curadoria de Jareh Das, dará visibilidade a artistas da diáspora africana e brasileira, reunindo galerias como Galerie Atiss Dakar, Nara Roesler, Simões de Assis e Fortes D’Aloia & Gabriel. A seção Focus, voltada a galerias com até 12 anos de existência, acolherá expositores estreantes como Bombon, Gathering, King’s Leap e Kayokoyuki.
Eva Langret, diretora da Frieze para Europa, Oriente Médio e África, destacou o compromisso da feira com artistas que desafiam convenções e expandem os horizontes da arte contemporânea: “A Frieze Londres continua a ser movida pelo pulso criativo da cidade e reafirma seu papel como centro global da cultura contemporânea”.
Na Frieze Masters, Tarizzo reforça a intenção de promover diálogos entre obras de diferentes tempos e lugares, oferecendo aos colecionadores uma imersão na história e relevância da arte em múltiplas perspectivas.
